STRANGE TALK – Cast Away (REFLEX Remix)

The shiny electro indie-pop sounds of Strange Talk have been given a remix makeover by french producers André Dalcan and Ludmila Cassar, better known as REFLEX. Strange Talk’s latest single ‘Cast Away‘ has been elevated in its danceability with funk grooves and emphasised synth chords.

Structurally, the track sounds a bit disorganised, which at first was a turn off for me. However, on a second listen there seems to be this flowing charm about it, making it spontaneous and live.

The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming remix EP, also featuring Vindata and Plastic Plates.
