Django Django – Bail Hop

Django Django are at it again with the release of “Bail Hop” on their Soundcloud tonight. The 5 minute bundle of fun features pitch bending synths, dancy percussion and some cool organ work which escalates their warped and bizarre sense of fun.

“Bail Hop” is the B-side to the groups new EP Hail Bop (out August 13th) and acts as their own progressive take on the EPs title track in a darker and more polyphonic-ringtone kind of way. It’s not the sort of sound that everyone is going to like, but regardless of that, it’s impossible not to appreciate their creativity and unique style. It’s fun, upbeat and quirky.

Django Django have been going from strength to strength in 2012. Their track “Default” placed number 3 in our Top 50 Songs Of The Year (So Far) and the group will be touring Australia for Splendour In The Grass sideshows, including a gig at The Corner Hotel in Melbourne on the 31st of July. Stay tuned for more.
